The console server had used up all available RAM, as a result important processes were being killed.
The RAM in the server has been doubled and normal service has been resumed.

The console server used for the management of dedicated servers hosted in our York data centre is currently unavailable.
This will not affect the normal operation of any dedicated servers but access to the serial console and the ability to remote power cycle is currently not available.
An engineer is currently on site and investigating the problem.
