Hi

As mentioned, this work is being postponed. All changes have been reverted.

Connectivity was lost as I ran the commands to disconnect the router, so there is some issue with this procedure, but we are still investigating the root cause of the outage.

Thanks

Nat

Hi

Parts of the York network have just briefly experienced connectivity issues as a result of this maintenance.

It was expected that traffic would fail over to the other router without interruption, but that did not happen. The cause was identified immediately and the router brought back to restore connectivity. Thanks

Nat

Hi

We will be performing maintenance on the York DC network from 1200 UTC today (Tuesday 28th March). As part of a series of ongoing upgrades to increase the capacity and resiliency of the York Network, we will be moving one of the "aggregation routers" between racks. This router is one of a redundant pair that provide the York network with connectivity from the Core.

We will depreference the router such that all of the traffic is passing through its partner, and no services should be affected. This is only an at risk notification, as during the maintenance we will only be running one router in the pair.

In the unlikely event that you see any issues, please contact support in the usual ways.
