The DDoS attack affected head14, which is one of the physical machines that form our Cloud infrastructure. If your Cloud Server is on that particular head then you would likely have had an interruption to network traffic over a period of minutes.

You can see which head your Cloud Server is running on by logging into the Bytemark Panel at https://panel.bytemark.co.uk and clicking the "info" tab for your server.

Hello,

A few sequential DDoS attacks have been aimed at an IP address located in Manchester, and this may have caused some delays and/or packet loss to traffic routed through that location.

We've taken steps to sink the traffic, in order to protect the rest of the network, and will be contacting the affected customer in due course.

Tom
