We are now done for today. Due to extended checking, this work will now roll over into the same period tomorrow, but we've gotten most of the major things done and what's left should be relatively invisible.

These network changes appear to have broken our phones, so we can't make or receive calls for the moment. We're working on this as a priority.

Hi

During the course of today, we will be upgrading some of our internal firewalls in York to a newer, faster pair.

Due to the nature of this work, it may cause a number of customer visible outages to certain Bytemark services, such as the Bytemark website, panel, the forum and the phones.

The work will start at 1200 UTC and should be complete by 1600.

Note: Customer network connectivity will NOT be affected by this work. Changes to virtual machines will not be possible at certain points during this time.
