This was actually an issue with tail70 rather than head69. The host had unexpectedly shut down it's 10G network ports, meaning VMs were unable to connect to their discs.
Some VMs were also restated due to a separate bug we are already working towards deploying a fix for.
Everything is back and working correctly now.

We've been alerted to a problem with head69, part of the Cloud Server platform.
