The engineer has confirmed a power issue affecting half the rack, unfortunately including the network connectivity.

Work is now being carried out to return the affected servers to normal operation, and we'll update this post as soon as there is an update.

We've been alerted to a number of pieces of hardware in Rack 06 of our YO26 (York) data centre reporting down, which will currently be affecting a number of dedicated servers hosted in that rack - most likely due to a tripped PDU or failed switch.

This won't affect anyone using Cloud Servers, or customers with servers in other racks or in the Manchester data center.

We're investigating and working to restore full service as soon as possible, and an engineer is on route now. We'll post updates here.

If you're experiencing any problems with your services at Bytemark that you think might be related, please do get in touch.
