Imaging a Symbiosis VM is down to 120 seconds again now, so I'm marking this as resolved. If anyone continues to have problems, please get in touch with support.

This issue appears to be related to IPv6 on BigV. If you need to get a machine up quickly, you can use the following workaround after netbooting the machine into netboot-amd64:

# net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
# bytemark-installer -d <DISTRO>

Imaging VMs on BigV is currently running very slowly. It will complete eventually, but it is taking on the order of tens of minutes.

We're looking into the cause of the slow down now.
