We received a denial-of-service attack through one pair of our shared firewalls last Tuesday, resulting in many sites & services being unavailable for a period of about 30 minutes. The attack ceased while we were investigating it.

I will update this ticket with any further information I can find about the nature of the attack and our response to it.
